Funding promise for Pakenham Secondary

Pakenham Secondary College would receive $11.3m to go towards upgrade works if Labor wins the November State Election.

The $11.3m promise was made on Tuesday 25 October by Pakenham Labor candidate Emma Vulin, Bass MP Jordan Crugnale and Education Minister Natalie Hutchins.

The money would go towards a major upgrade to Block A.

Ms Vulin said the upgrade would ensure the teachers and students would have the facilities they deserved.

“Every family deserves a great local school, and a re-elected Andrews Labor Government will upgrade Pakenham Secondary College so kids in Pakenham have the world-class classrooms they deserve,” she said.

“The Andrews Labor Government is already delivering eight new schools for our growing area and upgrades at 12 local schools – part of more than $12.8 billion to build and upgrade schools in every corner of the state, to make sure every child has every chance.”
