As a first offence, a 70-year-old driver has tested positive for methamphetamine and cannabis.
The woman was intercepted by police for a routine preliminary oral-fluid test in City of Casey on Friday 7 October.
She was banned from driving for 24 hours.
Police say they are awaiting final test results to “determine the consequence”.
