Cardinia Shire grants now open

Applications are now open for Cardinia Shire Council’s 2022-23 Beautification Grant program, providing community groups and individuals with funds for to undertake landscape enhancement projects on public open space.

Dollar-for-dollar grants of up to $2,000 are available for projects that aim to enhance and beautify local open space areas across the shire.

Applications close at 5pm on Monday 10 October.

Applications are also now open for Council’s 2022-23 weed control grants to help landowners and community groups control noxious and environmental weeds on private property and bushland reserves.

Funding is available for disposing of weeds, hiring equipment and contractors and purchasing herbicide.

A maximum of $350 per landholder or $750 for community groups, within Cardinia Shire.

Applications will remain open until the funds are fully allocated.
