Agriculture Victoria staff members are heading north to assist in the NSW varroa mite response.
Brett Davidson and Greg Ferrier were part of Agriculture Victoria’s first deployment headed to the Hunter Valley region to assist their NSW colleagues.
At this point, Victoria remains free of varroa mite. With multiple detections of Varroa mite in New South Wales, Agriculture Victoria is working to support its northern state neighbour and protect Victoria’s valuable bee population from this destructive mite.
