St James Primary School celebrated their Feast Day by attending Mass with parents and grandparents and then shared morning tea together. They were spoilt for choice as parents and grandparents provided a delicious morning tea. It was wonderful to be back together and celebrating as the tight knit community that they are. At St James they are fortunate to have such a tangible sense of community where their children, staff and families feel connected to each other and are proud to belong to the school.

St James, the son of Zebedee and brother of St John the Apostle is known as the first Disciple to take up Jesus’ invitation to “Come Follow Me“. In his words and actions, St James challenges us to be people of faith. St James wrote “it is by my deeds that I will show you my faith“ (The Letter of St James 2:26).

After their feast day celebrations, the middle and senior students played their first round of winter sports in perfect weather conditions. It is a great opportunity for the children to compete against other Catholic schools and for their children to enjoy the beautiful rural environment.

2023 enrolments are warmly invited to attend an open morning on Thursday, July 28 from 2.15pm onwards where they will be decorating cupcakes and have face painting.

St James is situated at 60 Nar Nar Goon Road, Nar Nar Goon or you can phone 5942 5404 for more information.
