Break-in at Pakenham Library

Police are investigating following a break-in at Pakenham Library on Sunday 24 July.

“It is understood a male teenager forced entry to the back window to the library on Henry Street,” police said.

“He was disturbed by an employee at about 7pm and fled the scene on foot.”

There were no injuries during the incident.

It is unknown whether anything was stolen at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.
