AusNet experience and social impact manager Jessica Naylor gave a talk to the group about the company’s partnership with Foodbank Victoria – a much-needed service as food costs increase.
Club president Jan Whitaker said they had been focusing on school breakfast programs for thousands of students in Victoria, which matches well with the needs of disadvantaged students helped through The Smith Family.
“By working together and making connections like this, we can all benefit our communities and impact the lives of children and families here and across Australia,” she said.
The donation will be used to sponsor another child in 2023.
