Scooter speedster sought

Police are hoping to identify the driver of a motorised scooter that was seen travelling at high speeds through a residential estate in Officer on Friday 13 May.

The scooter was first observed travelling at approximately 70km/h in the right-hand lane of the Princes Highway through a 40km/h roadwork zone.

The driver continued at high speeds into Timbertop Estate and was sighted again on residential streets that afternoon.

Investigators have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.
