Pakenham man charged with dangerous driving

A 28-year-old Pakenham man has been charged with 69 offences following an investigation into a series of dangerous driving incidents.

The investigation relates to allegations of dangerous driving whilst being pursued by police over the past six months.

Members from SD3 Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at an address at Muscari Drive in Pakenham on Thursday morning.

Officers seized a number of items including two vehicles, registration plates and illicit drugs, believed to be 1-4 butanediol, methylamphetamine and cannabis.

The man was arrested at the scene and charged with a range of offences including theft of motor vehicle, possess a drug of dependence, dangerous driving whilst pursued by police, conduct endangering life and drive whilst disqualified.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates Court.
