Upcoming works on Pakenham line

The Level Crossing Removal Project will soon undergo a 24/7 work blitz in Pakenham.

In April, LXRP be working on the rail line as they continue to prepare the tracks for major construction in mid 2022.

Buses will replace trains on the Pakenham Line between Berwick and Pakenham stations from 9.30pm Friday 8 April to last service Monday 11 April.

While trains are not running, LXRP will work 24/7 in the rail corridor in Pakenham to help deliver new rail tracks, and drill the foundations for temporary power lines.

The Pakenham line will be boom gate free by 2025.
