Beaconhills to present The Adams Family

The wacky world of The Addams Family is set to hit the stage at Beaconhills College Pakenham Campus next month.

After postponement last year due to Covid-19, 50 students from Years 5 to 12 are thrilled to finally be able to present audiences with the long-awaited show.

Director Amara Jensen described the show as a “campy, fun-loving musical” featuring a cast of unique characters well-known from cartoons, television and movies.

The Addams Family is the first major Beaconhills performing arts production for the year and features a live band and ‘spooktacular’ sets and costumes.

Ms Jensen said the group of talented young performers, musicians and technicians had worked determinedly over the past months to prepare the show.

“I never tire of working with students onstage and seeing their confidence and skill grow amidst all the laughter, excitement, and the pure joy of the performing arts,” Ms Jensen said.

The Addams Family opens on Thursday 28 April, with two more performances on Friday 29 April and Saturday 30 April.
