Hay-llelujah, superheroes save Christmas

Superheroes have stationed themselves along 9 Mile Road in Cora Lynn to protect the surrounding farmland from any Christmas grinches.

Locky Barnes has been setting up December hay bale displayed in his paddock for the last five years.

“We try and bring some joy to everyone who sees them especially the kids,” Locky said.

“Each year our kids have input into our Christmas hay bale theme and help paint them.

“This year one of our sons wanted to make superheroes so Nathan, Josh and Lexi each chose a superhero they wanted make but with a Christmas twist.”

Present for superhero duties are Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Supergirl and Batman.
