Positive Covid case at Coles

The Pakenham Gazette can confirm that a positive Covid case has been detected at Coles Pakenham Place.

The supermarket giant confirmed that a team member who tested positive for the virus worked at the Pakenham Place supermarket on:

– Sunday 12 September, 9am to 12.30pm

– Tuesday 14 September, 8am to 1pm

All customers who were at the store during this time are asked to get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result.

In a statement, Coles said its standard cleaning procedures comply with the Federal Government’s Covid-19 Hygiene Practices For Supermarkets and frequent cleaning and sanitisation has occurred in the time since the team member was last on site.
