New era for Rotary

By Rowan Forster

A new president has taken the reigns at Pakenham Rotary Club, promising to build on the non-for-profit’s commitment to inspire the next generation.

After a year of tireless charity work, outgoing head Greg Peck gave his blessing to the club’s newest boss, Goran Galic.

The event was celebrated by more than 60 Rotarians and official guests during a Changeover Dinner at the Pakenham Golf Club on Tuesday night.

Several Paul Harris Fellowship Awards were also presented on the night, recognising outstanding work in the local community.

Check out next week’s Gazette for in-depth coverage on the event.
