Silverware for Lions (cubs)

THE Pakenham senior footballers may be out of the finals race, but that doesn’t mean the town lacks football silverware in 2016.
The Lions under-15s downed Narre Warren North Foxes at the weekend to win the premiership, adding to the Premier 2 title secured by the club the previous weekend.
It was a memorable day for under-15 player Cameron de Bruin, who kicked six goals in the 23-point grand final win over the Foxes.
With those two titles safely in the bag, it’s now up to the Pakenham reserves side to add to the collection as the South East senior finals play out over the next few weeks.
