Mornings made for music

By ANEEKA SIMONIS

A FORMER Young Talent Time performer graced the stage in Pakenham last week to lead in the upcoming entertainment season.
Show star Phillip Gould along with Chris McKenna, Michelle Fitzmaurice and David Cameron performed a medley of songs during the launch of Cardinia Cultural Centre’s 2016 Morning Matinees season on Tuesday 27 October.
The matinee season is a first for the season, providing entertainment for the shire’s older residents.
The season will include concerts, a radio play, abridged musicals and some classic movies all designed to put some glamour back in to a typical morning.
A season subscription to the Morning Matinee has been pegged at a perfect Christmas gift to older friends or family in the shire.
To book, contact Cardinia Cultural Centre on 1300 787 624.
