Embona Taskforce probes Subaru carjacking

By KATHRYN BERMINGHAM

A GROUP of armed carjackers have stolen a vehicle and its contents from Lakeside last week.
On Thursday 1 October, five men armed with cricket bats and bolt cutters allegedly attacked a man sitting in his 2010 dark grey Subaru Forester.
It is believed the man was parked out the front of his house when the incident occurred. He sustained facial injuries from the attack.
Police have refused to comment on the incident but say it is being investigated by the Embona Taskforce – the unit specialising in armed robberies, robberies and attempted armed robberies.
