Guitars to tune of $5000 stolen

AT LEAST $5000 worth of guitars were stolen from a Cranbourne recording studio earlier this month.
Police are investigating the incident in which four guitars were stolen from the Sladen Street studio between midnight and 9am on Monday 15 June.
Police received an anonymous phone call from someone who claimed they saw a person carrying a number of guitars in the Cranbourne area around 4.40am on the same day.
Detectives believe this informer could provide them with more information on the theft and have urged them to come forward.
It’s understood at least two electric guitars and two acoustic guitars were stolen from the studio.
