Gang attacks man

A MAN was viciously set upon by a gang of 12 youths as he walked towards a 7-Eleven in Cranbourne.
The victim was approaching the petrol station at the corner of the South Gippsland Highway and Huon Park Road when the gang approached him and demanded his personal property.
One of the men then punched the victim on the side of the head, forcing him to the ground, where other offenders then kicked him.
The men stole the victim’s property and cash and fled the scene.
The victim sustained facial injuries in the attack.
The Embona taskforce is investigating the incident.
