Class units selling fast

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

KARIDIS Retirement Villages have been providing residents with convenient and friendly community living for six years, and new dwellings are selling fast at Saffron Grove in Hallam.
The village has added 20 new spacious two and three-bedroom units to the established 76 in Saffron Grove.
The boutique-style retirement village provides daily activities and includes a heated indoor spa and pool, billiard table and gym available for use between 6am to 11pm.
The village is close to Fountain Gate shopping centre and allows for small pets, depending on the type, size and needs and has a bus stop at its door.
They hold special functions such as Shrove Tuesday, Melbourne Cup Day and hot cross buns for morning tea around Easter time.
Village manager Jan Huggett said the beauty of Saffron Grove village was that there were enough activities to keep you involved and you could choose not to do anything as well.
“We have a full range of activities, including cards, movie nights and bus trips for residents,” Ms Huggett said.
“The village is compact and friendly, with very happy and settled residents and brand new units now available at very reasonable prices,” she said.
The village takes pride in their residents’ happiness and tries to keep the maintenance levy as low as practical.
Ms Huggett, who has been in the industry for more than 25 years, said she loved it.
“We have a great sales manager, Phil Glascott, who is very committed to seeing people make the right choices for the latter stage of their life,” she said.
The master-planned community offers an established, safe and comfortable lifestyle with friendly neighbours and a community atmosphere.
Ms Huggett said because the village was well established, new residents didn’t have to go through any teething problems to get the luxury of a new unit.
The village will have an open day on Thursday 30 April from 10am to 2pm with a sausage sizzle and live band playing on the day.
“I believe it is a wonderful option as you give up nothing but extra housework,” Ms Huggett said.
Saffron Grove is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and weekends and after hours by appointment.
Located at 8 Saffron Drive, Hallam, the team at Saffron Grove can be contacted on 8795 7380.
