Warriors bathed in glory

THE WAR-CRY could be heard from far and wide around Cardinia Life after the Pakenham and District Basketball Association (PDBA) were named one of the state’s best on-and-off the basketball court.
The Warriors were named the Victorian Junior Basketball League’s (VJBL) Medium Association of the Year Award as Pakenham is proving the place to play for a number of rising star basketballers.
Craig ‘Calfie’ Magrath and Darrell Morgan were on hand to receive the award presented at the VJBL Delegates meeting last week.
The association wanted to thank everyone within the Warriors’ community – coaches, team managers, players and parents – for their hard work and dedication, as awards don’t happen without significant work from everyone in the association.
