More tennis in Clyde

By BRIDGET SCOTT

LOCAL tennis lovers have been urged to come down and make a racquet with a new tennis group set to open in Clyde.
Peter Chambers hopes that the new group will be a hit with locals that want to get active while making new friends.
The senior’s tennis group will be open to any man or woman over the age of 55.
Mr Chambers said people could come down for “a cup of tea, hit and a giggle.”
The group will run out of the Clyde Tennis Club at Lineman oval on the corner of Patterson Road and Berwick-Clyde Road.
Mr Chambers and his fellow tennis players hope to see a big crowd on Tuesday 3 February at 11am.
