House explosion

POLICE are treating an explosion and fire in a Cranbourne West house last Sunday night as suspicious.
Neighbours heard loud explosions come from the Jaye Close house just minutes after midnight on Sunday 30 November.
Police and CFA crews attended the incident.
Cranbourne CFA Senior Station Officer Stewart Curnrow said the house was well alight when they arrived and that it was extensively damaged.
Police said a number of chemicals were thought to be inside the building and the Arson Squad will assist in investigating the fire and finding the cause.
There were no occupants inside the house at the time of the fire.
