Just excuses

GOOD to see Amanda Stapledon, Susan Serey and Public Transport Minister Terry Mulder all smiles and fists in the air at Hallam Station announcing the installation of public toilets at the site if elected in November. That’s a great idea, but the Labor member for Narre Warren South, Judith Graley, and the shadow transport minister, Jill Hennessy announced the same thing plus the removing of the rail crossing, more than a month ago. If It’s such a great idea now, how come the Coalition Government didn’t go ahead with this earlier?
Labor already allocated funds for the toilets in the 2010 budget, yet the Coalition had to wait four years to try and bribe voters with someone else’s policy. And if elected? Black holes suddenly appear out of nowhere, another crisis in the Middle East, Labor and the Greens work together against the Victorian public, the wind maybe blows from the north-east instead of south-west? Same old, same old. Excuses, excuses!

Hampton Park.
