Top end to the year

IT’S the end-of-year celebration where fancy – and a little bit freaky – dress sense is an absolute must. Cardinia Shire Mayor Graeme Moore is inviting everybody to attend the end of mayoral year celebration, the “Mayor Hatter” event on Friday 7 November, at the Cardinia Cultural Centre. All proceeds will go to Officer Specialist School. Tickets are $90 each. Call 1300 887 624 or email cardiniaculturalcentre.com.au Dress is smart casual with a special hat to top it off. There will also be raffle prizes, silent auctions and entertainment.
