Council chief outlines business plans

CARDINIA Shire Council chief executive officer Garry McQuillan will meet with the local business community next month to discuss what’s in store for the future.
On Wednesday 3 September business operators are invited to the annual CEO address to reflect on the past year and discuss future council projects that will impact the local business world.
Guests will have the chance to ask Mr McQuillan questions and network with other business owners from the area.
Cardinia Mayor Graeme Moore encouraged all the shire’s business operators to get along to the event.
“The event is a valuable opportunity for local business owners to hear from council’s CEO and ask questions,” Cr Moore said.
“It is also a great chance to network with other businesses and meet council staff.”
He said anyone who is interested to know what’s in store for their local business is urged to come along to what’s promised to be “an insightful and interesting event”.
Canapes and beverages will be served on arrival.
Bookings for this event are essential and must be made before Friday 29 August.
