Market keeps on keeping on

Come visit Margie Nelson’s Plant link herbs and seedlings stall at the Berwick Farmers Market.

THE Rotary Club of Berwick Farmers’ Market is growing in size, value and contribution to farmers and the community.
Customers keep saying they will continue to come to the market because “the Old Cheese Factory market always has fresh, high-quality produce”.
The market offers a very wide range of products with which customers can build outstanding fresh meals.
They now have over 50 stallholders who aim to provide the best quality goods to meet customers’ tastes and needs, as reflected by the following three stallholders.
Dan and Cath Drougas can supply your family with first quality meat products, including all cuts of beef and lamb or a full roast.
A delicious entree can be constructed from their award-winning gourmet Cornish, beef and honey, beef and pepper, and chorizo sausages.
Customers can buy by phone, or on the web at: info@thefarmersmarket.com.au and collect their purchases at the market.
Helen Scott’s organic gourmet bakery products from Hope Farm are recommended. More than a dozen bread types are available.
Helen noted “that her products are made from the finest wholegrain flours, sea salt and filtered water”. The wonderful breads, provided by Hope Farm, stay fresh for days. Order online at info@hopefarm.com.au and pick up it up on market day.
Long-term stallholders, Dianne and Ron Moore of Labertouche Farm, are the source of outstanding free range eggs.
It is a wise move to visit them early as their high-quality eggs always sell out quickly. Pre-order from: diron@dcsi.net.au
The market also offers dozens of other products to support nutritious meals, which include herbs, nuts, spices, oils, wine and beers. In addition, there are shrubs and fresh-cut flowers to bring colour to homes.
You can spoil yourself by having an egg and bacon roll, or a sausage in bread at the Rotary Club of Berwick’s on-site barbecue.
All stallholders seek to meet the highest standards of freshness in all their products and strive to always give outstanding customer service.
Come and enjoy the experience at The Old Cheese Factory, 34 Homestead Road, Berwick, Saturday 26 July, 8am to 12.30 pm. Free parking.
