THE Pakenham Silverbacks are looking for youngsters keen to give gridiron a red-hot crack and join their under19s side for the Gridiron Victoria 2014 Junior Vic Bowl.
Those interested need not have any prior experience – just bring their football boots or runners and a water bottle along to Beaconsfield’s O’Neil Road Reserve this Saturday from 10am. Helmets and pads will be available for all sizes.
Plenty of the Silverbacks’ senior players will be there the day before they take on the Gippsland Gladiators at Maryvale Reserve in Morwell from 10.30 this Sunday morning. The Gladiators currently sit atop the men’s Division 2 standings, with the Silverbacks in fourth.
For further inquiries on the Silverbacks’ junior registration day this Saturday, call head coach Damien Belsham on 0407 006 386.
