Get busy with teenage holiday fun

TEENAGERS can keep themselves entertained throughout the school holidays with the range of activities on offer by the City of Casey.
The council is again running its Teenage School Holiday Program with something on offer for everyone from go-karting and ice-skating to an IMAX movie and DJ workshop.
The program runs from 30 June to 11 July and caters for young people of all abilities, between the ages of 12 and 17 years, with affordable activites on offer every week day of the holiday period.
City of Casey Mayor Geoff Ablett said that young people in Casey were sure to be entertained by the fantastic program.
“The popular school holiday programs provide a wonderful way for young people to make friends, try something new and keep busy during the school break,” he said.
“I encourage parents to register their children for activities quickly to ensure they don’t miss out.”
Transportation to and from most holiday program activities is available and designated pick-up and drop-off points are located in Cranbourne, Berwick, Hampton Park, Fountain Gate, Endeavour Hills and Doveton.
All program activities are fully supervised by qualified Youth Services officers and are smoke, drug and alcohol free.
Bookings are essential and places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
