Visual arts on display

TWO new exhibitions are being showcased through the 2014 Civic Centre Art Space Exhibition Program.
Hybrid by Amanda Smart and Mind Drawing by Jenni Ivins are collections of fascinating drawings, paintings and jewellery and are on display throughout May.
City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said Casey was home to a range of talented visual artists featuring in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and textiles.
“I encourage the community to visit the Civic Centre Art Space at the Civic Centre in Narre Warren to check out some fantastic local art,” he said.
The Art Space is located in the foyer of the City of Casey Civic Centre, Magid Drive, Narre Warren, and is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
