THE Dawn Service at Pakenham this Friday is expected to attract a crowd of hundreds to honour the 99th anniversary of Anzac Day.
War veteran and Pakenham resident Norm Joseph will be among many to honour the soldiers in a touching ceremony at the Pakenham Cenotaph.
Mr Joseph will head to Gallipoli next year for the centenary celebrations.
The cenotaph is located outside the public hall and libary complex on the corners of John and Henry streets, Pakenham.
The start time for the service is 6am sharp and will include the ceremoninal wreath laying and flag-raising associated with the Anzac tradition.This will be followed by breakfast.
