Come and try the good life

CARDINIA Life will open its doors to the entire community on Saturday 3 May for a day of fitness and fun.
Centre manager Chris Hargreaves is excited about the event and hopes a large crowd will come down to check out the centres facilities.
“Cardinia Life has everything you could want in a community based leisure facility and we want every member on the local community to experience the centre,” he said.
“We are going all-out with this event and if it happens in the centre, it will be on during the open day.”
The open day will run between 2pm and 7.30pm and will include demonstrations, classes and highlights throughout the afternoon.
Activities will include a come and try the challenge fitness camp, fitness and health testing with personal trainers, swimming squad information, a three-on-three basketball competition for which participants must register beforehand, jiu jitsu classes and much more.
The event will end with a huge pool party from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with music, lights, fun and games and Mr Hargreaves said there will be something there for everyone.
The centre’s management is encouraging those who are interested to register beforehand, particularly those who want to be involved in the basketball competition.
As an added bonus there will be a special no joining fee membership offer for anyone who joins on the day.
For more information contact Cardinia Life on 5945 2888 or visit the centre on the web at cardinialife@ymca.org.au.
