Classes take the crisis out of cooking

PREPARING a healthy meal can be an expensive task but the 4Cs Crisis Relief Centre is offering some new cooking classes to help residents in Cardinia Shire cook nutritious meals on a budget.
Operations manager Abiola Ajetomobi said the classes are free to families in crisis, low income and less privileged residents in the shire.
“4Cs is especially interested in the total wellbeing of residents in the shire and we want to partner with families to help them have healthier food choices,” she said.
“Low income families can be especially vulnerable due to lack of affordable healthy foods.”
Ms Ajetomobi encouraged families in the shire who are struggling to contact 4Cs.
For all inquiries and bookings call 4Cs Crisis Relief Centre on 5941 2268.
