ACROSS Casey, over 2248 jobs will be lost in the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts manufacturing industries over the foreseeable future.
Manufacturing workers across Melbourne’s south-east need the Napthine Government to act.
They deserve a government that will fight for their jobs and their industries.
We need a positive plan for jobs from Premier Napthine.
We need to see support for and investment in local manufacturing, be it trams and trains or parts manufacturing.
Investment in local manufacturing means more local jobs and a better way of life for local families.
It makes perfect sense, and Premier Napthine needs to act now.
