ANIMALS and arts and crafts were a popular feature at the relaunch of the playgroup at Pakenham Uniting Church this month.
Supported by the Cardinia Shire, the playgroup will run every Tuesday from 10am until noon.
According to the council’s Family Connections Officer Elissa Sewell, the playgroup provides a great chance for local families with young children to meet and catch up.
Children and families from across Cardinia attended the morning, which includes activies such as an animal farm, storytellers from Casey-Cardinia libraries, games and activities, healthy snacks, food demonstrations and the PlayStart van.
