A PAKENHAM woman was arrested after a routine intercept uncovered a firearm, ammunition and drugs.
Police stopped a black Yamaha motorcycle on the corner of Heatherton Road and Douglas Street, Noble Park, around 12.40am on Wednesday.
A search of the male rider and female passenger uncovered the firearm, ammunition and a small amount of drugs.
Police allege the motorcycle was also displaying false number plates.
Both were arrested at the scene and taken back to Dandenong police station.
The 28-year-old Noble Park man and the 24-year-old Pakenham woman are currently assisting police with their inquiries.The motorcycle was also impounded under hoon legislation.
