Hampers of hope

AS PAKENHAM residents prepare for Christmas, good-hearted volunteers have donated their time to help others do the same.
Volunteers have been preparing the ‘hampers’ for distribution for the 4Cs (Cardinia Combined Churches Caring).
Food and toys are distributed to those in need around the shire in time for Christmas and this year, so many goods were needed that the distribution centre moved to Pakenham Racecourse.
To cope with demand, 4Cs will not be packaging hampers this year, but will distribute the goods as needed per family or individual.
The goods will be collected from the racecourse later this week.
