OPERATION Summer Stay will run into early January as part of a road safety campaign across Cardinia Shire.
The operation is already underway targeting excessive speed, impaired drivers, fatigued drivers and drug or alcohol affected motorists, as well as those failing to wear a seatbelt.
Drivers are reminded to be mindful ahead of the Christmas break and take care on the roads.
Pakenham police will be running breath tests throughout the shire.
