Cost of Christmas

I would like to let people who send Xmas cards to the UK and abroard to know that I have just had an awful shock when I went to send some of my usual cards.
I was told there was no longer the smaller stamp for Xmas cards. One has to pay as for a letter, the difference being from $1.50 last year to the letter price of $2.65 – that is $1.15 for each card.
Each year I usually send 45 to 60 cards but now I find that it’s way over the top and cannot do that.
I have written to the CEO of Australia Post and await a reply.
It beggars belief that they can get away with such a big increase.
The cost of sending birthday and anniversary cards during the year all adds up.
