TINA Turner fans should get ready as Rebecca O’Connor delivers a flawless rendition of the Queen of Rock-n-Roll, Tina Turner’s greatest hits.
Due to an overwhelming demand, O’Connor will begin her world tour in Australia for the second time in 15 months.
It comes hot on the hells of her recent standing room only tour, which took her through South Africa and Botswana in April.
With no miming or backing tracks necessary, O’Connor tours with a world class band of rock musicians and her two dancers Ashleigh and Hayley, her Rebeccettes.
The show rocks from the start, with hits such as Nutbush City Limits, Proud Mary, River Deep, Private Dancer, When the Heartache is Over, Better Be Good to Me, and her unforgettable hit, Simply the Best.
Tina fans will be taken back by how good she is after she received standing ovations during her performances in Australia, including two sold-out shows.
Rebecca O’Connor grew up in County Cork, Ireland, and was introduced to Tina Turner’s music through her parents as a young girl.
Rebecca O’Connor looks and sounds like Tina on stage, but is adamant there is only one Tina Turner, and she hopes she can bring the same energy and liveliness to the stage.
Rebecca O’Connor as Tina Turner will be at the Cardinia Beaconhills Golf Links on Saturday 16 November.
Cost is $70 which also includes a two course meal.
