A 23-year-old Cranbourne driver has been charged following a fatal collision in Tynong last month.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives charged the man after the two cars collided on Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Road just before 9pm on 26 July.
A 70-year-old Longwarry man died at the scene.
Police charged the Cranbourne man with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, disqualified driving and drink driving on Friday last week.
Hayden Ball faced the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and has been bailed to reappear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 15 November.
