A MOE teenager was picked up by police on Ahern Road in Pakenham on Tuesday night carrying a samurai sword.
He was spotted at 5.40pm after members of the public saw him wandering along the Princes Highway and McGregor Road with the sword.
A witness saw him near Hungry Jacks heading in the direction of Ahern Road.
Police found the man in possession of the sword and it was seized by police.
He was summoned to appear in court at a later date.
