POLICE have charged a driver of a white van following a pursuit in Pakenham.
The driver was first spotted on 3 July at 1.35am allegedly driving with stolen number plates.
Police saw the car on Salvia Avenue before it crossed onto the wrong side of the road on Henry Road heading towards Cardinia Road.
The pursuit was terminated once the driver reached the freeway but the next day police picked up the driver who was remanded in custody.
