HERITAGE Boulevard was closed to traffic on Tuesday afternoon after a two-car accident.
CFA 2nd Lieutenant Wayne Nutting said one car was t-boned by another, causing the female driver to become trapped about 4pm.
“It took about 20 minutes to extricate her,” he said.”The job went fairly well and there were no major issues.”
Mr Nutting said Heritage Boulevard was closed during the rescue.
The woman was transport to Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
Nar Nar Goon CFA rescue and SES rescue attended the scene.
