Victorian football hots up

STAR players from Casey Cardinia, Ellinbank and District and the Yarra Valley Mountain District football leagues have been selected in initial training squads for Victorian Country Football League teams to take on the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) on Sunday 7 July.
Narre Warren’s Nick Scanlon will join Wandin pair, Jarrod Bayliss and Justin Myers in the VCFL Vic 1 side while rival skippers, Cranbourne’s Marc Holt and Narre Warren’s Michael Collins headline a strong contingent selected for the Vic 2 side.
Narre Warren’s Ryan Morrison has been selected in the Vic Country Under-19 squad alongside three players from the Yarra Valley league.
