Man faces multiple charges

A 24-YEAR-OLD man from Berwick was arrested by police on 27 May in relation to burglary and handling stolen goods.
Police, who arrested the man during a routine check, found a large amount of cash and stolen goods.
He was charged with getting equipped to steal, possesing ammunition and weapons, burglary and theft of copper – including the theft of copper wire from a container located in a storage yard at Centre Road, Narre Warren in April.
The man has been remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 5 June.
