MELBOURNE Ballet Company will present On Air at Dandenong’s Drum Theatre in June.
The performances at 2pm on 6 June and 8pm on 7 and 8 June premiere a new collaboration, with dancers and pianists sharing the stage.
Melbourne Ballet Company’s resident choreographer Simon Hoy choreographed On Air, which celebrates the artistry, emotion, beauty and passion that dancing and music bring to the world.
Celebrated pianists Igor Machlak and Olga Kharitonova will perform three highly acclaimed works – Debussy’s On Air, Chopin’s Motion Transcend and Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
Tickets to the matinee show are $30 for adults, $22.50 for members and $25 for groups of four or more.
Evening show tickets are $35 for adults, $25 for members and under-25s, and $30 concession or for groups of four or more.
The Drum Theatre is on the corner of Walker and Lonsdale streets in Dandenong.
