Tracky comfort for fundraiser

By BRIDGET SCOTT

EUMEMMERING resident Sarah Tscholl is helping raise funds and awareness for sick children in hospital in the most comfortable way possible.
Along with her colleagues from Kinder and Co, Sarah will sport a pair of trackies one day in May to help fundraise for children who are hospitalised, as well as their families.
This will be the second year Sarah has participated in ’Tracky Dack Day’ after hearing about the event through her operations manager last year.
Sarah said she believed the fundraiser was a great way to show support for the community.
“The fundraiser is a great initiative and we love to show our support for other organisations that also empathise with our values,” Sarah said.
The event is open to anyone and is a major fundraiser for TLC for kids – Australia’s only emergency response support for distressed children in hospital and their families.
Tim Conolan, CEO and Founder of TLC for kids, is enthusiastic about Tracy Dack Day and its many benefits.
“Tracy Dack Day is a fun initiative that gets us thinking about the support needed for crisis situations in hospital,” he said.
“Kids and families who are not coping and need our support now, not in a month’s time – it’s also a great excuse to wear your trackies all day!”
