Power tools stolen

By BRIDGET SCOTT

A TRIMMER and cordless drill kit were stolen from South East Power Tools in Berwick last month.
On 18 April a man thought to be around 18 years of age parked a dark blue Holden commodore or one that resembled it outside the Berwick store.
After walking around the store browsing its items, the suspect is alleged to have taken a trimmer and placed it under his jacket and walked away with a cordless drill kit, on his way out.
He then ran towards his car with the items, which had a total combined value of $698.
The male who police wish to question is of Caucasian appearance with dark hair, average height and wearing a white hooded jacket with a red and black pattern. He was also wearing a blue baseball cap with white writing on the front.
The suspect’s vehicle was a dark blue station wagon with mag wheels.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Constable Singh at Narre Warren police on 97053111.
