TOTAL Tools in Lynbrook has given students at Narre Warren South P-12 College a big lift.
The business has offered a sponsorship to help technology students at the college by donating high visibility shirts which all technology students are requested to wear as part of their transition into trade apprenticeships.
Each student that studies within the Design and Technology Department at Narre Warren South in the senior years, receives a shirt, which incorporates VCAL, VET Building and Construction and VCE Design and Technology.
Students are required to wear the shirts to all practical sessions and on weekly work placement as part of Victoria’s Worksafe Act.
The move by Total Tools in Lynbrook to support local students comes after the State Government made funding cuts to vocational programs including VCAL and TAFE.
Technology Domain Leader Jonathan Vallance thanked the business for their support.
“We have a very positive relationship with Total Tools, Lynbrook, and their generous contribution to our college is greatly appreciated,” Mr Vallance said.
“It is wonderful that a local business recognises the quality of our students and programs and is so keen to assist them in this way.”
